About the Simulator
The TecknoSIM cargo loader is an advanced simulator that is a replica of the actual equipment.
It combines actual equipment controls and levers as in the original equipment. The dynamics of the cargo loader equipment and the loading operations are designed to give realistic experience to the operator with respect to aircraft type and load.
The visuals are projected on three high definitions LED screens. The display gives a highly realistic and immersive view 120-degree view to the operator. The operator cab is mounted on a static platform. Alternatively it could be mounted on a TecknoSIM integrated motion platform providing three DOF electric motion that gives a realistic feedback and enhances training experience.
TecknoSIM Instructor station controls the operator cab of the simulator. It enables the instructor to register trainees set scenarios, environmental conditions, inject faults, track and print the trainee's performance. A detailed, consistent and scientific reporting system, offers instructors a high degree of reliability. At the end of every training session a detailed graphical report displaying the skill, safety and productivity levels of the operator.
The simulator helps in training the operators on both main deck and lower deck loading techniques. The operator can practice aligning the equipment safely and loading the cargo on a variety of narrow body and wide body aircraft. In addition to this the simulator focuses on training and evaluation of the following:
- Familiarization of equipment control
- Airside and ramp safety
- Loading and unloading techniques
- Loading different types of cargo
- Operating in night time conditions
- Operating in difficult weather conditions
- Parking and shutdown procedures
