The EPS consists of a “Powershift” transmission coupled to a permanent magnet electric motor. This optimizes the driving experience of the vehicle and enhances the motor performance. The transmissions ratios allow the user to select the optimal ratio. The addition of the DROP BOX on the output of the EPS provides additional ratios. Batteries allow the recovery of kinetic energy during deceleration and braking, storing energy that would otherwise be lost, increasing vehicle availability.
