Powervamp, AERO Specialties Showcase JetGo GPU at GSE Expo

Oct. 4, 2018
The JetGo 300 ground power unit is designed to provide continuous power for avionics and to start the engines on all DC turbine and turboprop aircraft by using its fully Tier IV compliant 3-cylinder, water-cooled Kubota diesel engine.

Powervamp USA distributor, AERO Specialties, is present at the International Airport GSE Expo 2018 expo with a large selection of ground support equipment on Booth 629. The Idaho-based company will be showcasing a broad range of products from their patent pending LC11E lavatory cart to their flagship JetGo 600, 28V DC hybrid ground power unit.

Also on display will be the latest AERO Specialties branded Powervamp ground power units – including the Coolspool 410 28V DC battery cart and the PV45 400Hz frequency converter. The recently renamed Powervamp designed AERO JetGo 300 will also be present in the striking AERO Specialties corporate orange and blue livery.

The JetGo 300 ground power unit is designed to provide continuous power for avionics and to start the engines on all DC turbine and turboprop aircraft by using its fully Tier IV compliant 3-cylinder, water-cooled Kubota diesel engine.

JetGo 300 users will benefit from a compact unit, user friendly all weather controls and very low operating costs, with the further advantage of low dBA signature and reduced CO2 emissions. Its quite normal for a diesel ground power unit (GPU) four times the size of the JetGo to deliver the same peak amperage for starting large turbines.

For hangar use, or use within a confined space, the JetGo 300 engine can be shut down, and by operating a dedicated selector switch, the generator can be isolated to allow external 3-phase AC power to be connected from a suitable utility supply.
