    On the left is Gammon's filter, with part number GTP-2233 etched into the end. The other is a not-equal, but similar-looking filter, made for a different hydraulic application. The authentic part on the left has more pleats. In addition, the seal material of the part on the right is not compatible with all aviation fuels and the size of the seal is too large to properly seal in Gammon's gauge.
