dp-Switch Complies to JIG Requirements

FAUDI Aviation officials designed its dp-Switch so that it can not be reset and reactivated by a deadman override or vehicle restart.

In June this year, the Joint Inspection Group (JIG) published an Operational Bulletin (#111 issues with dP-Switches) about control and operation of the dP-Switch resetting.

From this bulletin, FAUDI Aviation officials designed its dp-Switch so that it can not be reset and reactivated by a deadman override or vehicle restart. If a user's one-time verification (#111: target completion July 31, 2018 ) of competitive dp-switches fitted to filter vessels failed to meet the requirements of the Bulletin, FAUDI officials say they offer a quick and easy replacement with two qualified options:

  • Safe area approved set
  • Hazardous area approved set

Both sets are equipped as a standard with a stainless steel proximity switch, a sensor cable and a key switch to reset the safety relay when activated. The system fully complies to JIG Operational Bulletins #58 and #111.
