Amadeus recently announced it is compliant with IATA Resolution 753.
Amadeus baggage solution – Amadeus BRS - is now RP753 complaint and is one step ahead in baggage management with a common industry approach to collecting, storing and sharing the tracking information of baggage for airports, airlines and ground handlers called.
In addition, the company stated Amadeus BRS was developed with a “single data source” concept in mind, where all of its products and services are tightly integrated to share data rather than pushing or pulling it with costly Teletype messages, meaning TTY messaging costs are no longer applicable between the users of Amadeus BRS and its airline products (Amadeus Altea). Check-in agents, gate agents, baggage agents and ramp agents can have the same view and get benefits of a “real-time” data sharing set of applications.
