    Leonardo offers a Multisorting Baggage Handling System (MBHS) based on innovative cross-belt sortation technology operational in many reputed airports worldwide like Hong Kong, Paris Charles De Gaulle and Orly, Frankfurt, Rome Fiumicino, Milan Malpensa, Zurich, Genève, Lyon, etc. MBHS offers high bag throughput with a sorting capacity up to 8,400 bags/hour, low operations and maintenance costs, no bag jams, compact design with a low footprint and very low noise levels. Use of contactless technologies for propulsion (Linear Motors), power transmission (Inductive) and controls (industrial Wi-Fi), energy efficiency due dynamic sorter speed, less O&M personnel, fewer spares and warehouse requirements all contribute toward MBHS’s low total cost of ownership (TCO).
