Coxreels Expands Stainless Steel Options for Hose Reels

The company offers complete stainless steel reels as well as powder-coated steel reels equipped with stainless steel fluid paths.

Coxreels has expanded the stainless steel options available across its industrial hose reel product line, giving customers a choice between 304 and 316 grade stainless steel fluid paths on a variety of reel types.

The company offers complete stainless steel reels as well as powder-coated steel reels equipped with stainless steel fluid paths. The expanded material options allow users to select a stainless steel grade based on the corrosion resistance required for a particular application.

Coxreels said 304 stainless steel is suited for many general corrosion-resistant applications, while 316 stainless steel provides increased resistance for more demanding environments. Applications for 316 stainless steel can include marine environments and operations involving certain acidic or corrosive fluids and chemicals.

Stainless steel reel spools and frames will continue to use 302/304 grade stainless steel and are also available with an optional electropolished finish for additional corrosion resistance.

Both stainless steel grades are available on several of Coxreels' larger reel series. Customers can also specify different materials through the company's custom reel process.

Coxreels manufactures industrial-grade hose, cord and cable reels in the United States.
