Coxreels Upgrades Inline Swivel Seals with Multi-Lobe Design

Coxreels has introduced an upgraded seal design for its 1.5-inch and 2-inch nitrile inline swivels, incorporating advanced multi-lobe sealing technology to improve durability and performance in demanding fluid-handling applications.

The new seals are engineered to enhance seal integrity and extend service life, particularly in large-capacity and high-volume delivery environments. According to the company, testing shows the multi-lobe design outperforms traditional O-ring, cup, and T-seal configurations across both high- and low-pressure conditions.

The updated seal geometry also offers improved resistance to compression set, a common cause of premature seal failure, helping maintain consistent performance over time.
