Cobus Industries used GSE Expo Europe 2026 to highlight an expanded approach to airport ground mobility that goes beyond vehicle manufacturing to include electrification consulting, lifecycle services and training.

The airport bus manufacturer said changing requirements across airports, airlines and ground handling companies are prompting it to take a broader role in supporting ground transportation operations. Electrification, infrastructure needs, growing passenger volumes and increasing operational complexity are among the factors driving the shift.

Cobus said its expanded approach includes helping customers select vehicles and evaluate solutions for electrifying ground operations, along with providing global spare parts support and practical training throughout the vehicle lifecycle.

The company is also expanding its Cobus Academy with new online training courses and customer-specific learning formats. The additions are intended to give airport operators more flexible access to training aimed at improving vehicle safety and efficiency.

Cobus has manufactured airport buses for more than 30 years. According to the company, more than 5,000 Cobus buses are currently operating at more than 350 airports in 115 countries.
