Tanzania Airport Authority To Name New Ground Service Provider At DAR

Formally known as Dar es Salaam Airports Handling Company, Swissport has been the sole operator at DAR, Kilimanjaro International Airport and Songwe International Airport, as well as a number of airstrips in the country.

Competition in ground handling services at the Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA) is set to intensify as the Tanzania Airports Authority (TAA) expects to announce soon an additional operator to complement Swissport Tanzania Limited.

Formally known as Dar es Salaam Airports Handling Company (DAHACO), Swissport has been the sole operator at JNIA, Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) and Songwe International Airport, as well as a number of airstrips in the country.
