GSE Automation Helps IndiGo Reduce Emissions by 5%
IndiGo recently announced it successfully reduced emissions by approximately 5 percent as a result of ground support equipment automation.
According to a report from the Indo-Asian News Service (IANS), the Indian low-cost carrier adopted environmentally beneficial solutions to assist with both passenger and freight services. The report notes that with less manpower required to perform these tasks, the risk of mishandling baggage has been lowered while the health of the workforce as been positively influenced.
