Moscow:  A tonne of uncollected luggage has piled up at Russia's main airport, the transport minister said Friday, as the Moscow metro sent workers to help out after baggage handlers reportedly quit their jobs en masse.

Passengers have complained over the past week of waiting for their luggage for hours at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport.
