Publisher's Note

Oh, the Weather Outside is Frightful ...
Dec. 30, 2010

It is that time of year again when boots and mittens are necessities. Being from Wisconsin, I am very familiar with the snow and bitter cold. Winter isn’t all bad, however, as it ushers in the holiday season. It is a time to gather with friends and family, and reflect on what is most important. This season I will also be thinking of the workers on the ramp that keep the flights going through tough conditions. Though they get little recognition, they play an integral part of the holiday season by helping to bring people together around the world.

I will also think about the industry moving forward into the next year. I know we have been in recovery mode for the last couple of years and, by all appearances, we are now on the upswing. There is a great sense of optimism. I look forward to a new year and a great beginning to 2011.

Warm wishes,
