Menzies Aviation has appointed Emma Deane senior vice president commercial for its Oceania and Southeast Asia region.

Deane brings more than 20 years of aviation industry experience, including commercial leadership, business development, key account management, contracting, corporate governance and operations.

In her new role, she will lead commercial activities across the region, supporting customer relationships and business development as Menzies continues to expand its ground handling and air cargo operations.

The appointment comes as Menzies continues to strengthen its presence across Oceania and Southeast Asia. The company has expanded its cargo operations in Australia and New Zealand, including preparations for operations at Western Sydney International Airport, and has grown its ground handling presence in Southeast Asia.

Deane’s appointment adds to the company’s regional leadership team as it pursues further commercial opportunities with airlines and airport partners.
