Menzies Aviation has completed the integration of G2 Secure Staff less than 12 months after acquiring the company for $305 million, bringing more than 12,500 former G2 employees into Menzies’ systems, operations and brand.

The integration, the largest in Menzies’ history, follows its August 2025 acquisition of G2, which doubled the company’s U.S. footprint. Menzies now operates with a combined U.S. workforce of approximately 20,000 employees providing ground handling, air cargo and fuel services at 108 airports.

The acquisition also added 70 customers to Menzies’ U.S. business and expanded its service offering through new contracts for cabin cleaning and passengers with reduced mobility (PRM).

As part of the integration, G2 operations at 85 airports transitioned to the Menzies Aviation brand. The process included uniforms and ground support equipment, along with the integration of safety and security, IT and HR systems, policies and procedures.

Menzies also implemented an integrated deicing program across 25 airports and developed PRM inspections. Nearly 150 management employees completed risk induction, while another 440 former G2 trainers underwent formal qualification to meet Menzies requirements.

John Redmond, executive vice president Americas, oversaw the integration with support from a combined Menzies and G2 leadership team.

“The completion of this integration in less than 12 months is a significant accomplishment,” Redmond said. “From day one, our priority was to bring together the strengths of both businesses while maintaining our focus on safety, operational excellence and customer service.”

Menzies has also expanded its Americas leadership structure. Tomeu Mas was promoted earlier this year to chief operating officer, North America Ground Services, with responsibility for the combined ground services business in the United States and Canada.

Former G2 executive Roger Zebroski was appointed chief commercial officer Americas after playing a key role in the integration. Menzies said the expanded leadership team will focus on growth, customer relationships and continued development of its service offerings.
