Menzies Aviation has launched Quick Pay, a new digital payment capability designed to simplify cargo payments and help speed cargo release.

The new feature is available through the Menzies Aviation Cargo Handling (MACH) customer portal and is powered by PayCargo. It allows cargo customers to view charges associated with an Air Waybill (AWB) and complete payment through PayCargo using either an existing account or a guest checkout.

Menzies said the capability reduces manual payment steps and eliminates the need for customers to establish an account before making a payment, helping streamline a process that can otherwise contribute to cargo release delays.

"The launch of Quick Pay is an important step in the evolution of the MACH customer portal and supports our wider digital transformation journey," said Rory Fidler, SVP Cargo Technology at Menzies Aviation. "By working with PayCargo, we are making it quicker and easier for customers to complete payments, helping reduce friction, improve visibility and keep cargo moving."

The MACH customer portal also allows customers to track shipments using an AWB reference and access information about Menzies Aviation's global cargo network. Since its launch in 2023, the platform has been deployed across 49 airports and has processed more than 1.6 million air waybills.

Menzies plans to add further capabilities to the platform as part of its effort to improve visibility and operational efficiency across its cargo network.
