A planned work stoppage at London Luton Airport during the holiday weekend was called off, preventing disruptions for travelers.

According to a BBC report, Menzies Aviation employees and members of the Unite union planned to strike beginning Saturday afternoon. However, the strike action was suspended after negotiations advanced.

Other strike action expected at Luton was postponed earlier last week.
