Copa Chooses Menzies for Handling and Fueling

Menzies Aviation in the Americas has cemented its relationship with Copa Airlines recently, signing major ground handling and fueling contracts with the airline in multiple locations. 

Founded in Panama in 1947, Copa Airlines’ full title is Compañía Panameña de Aviación. They have a fleet size of almost 90 aircraft, flying to over 100 destinations worldwide.

Copa has chosen Menzies Aviation Cancun to provide ground handling services for the next three years, running seven daily turnarounds.

Menzies are also Copa’s first choice for an into-plane fueling contract extension at six existing locations across the United States, along with an additional new contract award in Las Vegas. This one-year renewal represents over 16 million gallons of fuel and almost 5,000 flights per year.
