Latam Brasil Dismisses Team and Outsources Ground Operations at Airports Across the Country
In an internal statement, the Airports Directorate of Latam Brasil confirmed to its employees that it is outsourcing the Ground Handling operation (ramp, cleaning and GSE) throughout Brazil, as of the second week of May. The measure will affect all airports (except Santos Dumont, Brasília and Congonhas) and, in the process, shutdowns will occur.
In the communication, the company says that “the hiring of partners, to carry out these operations at Latam, is in line with the market and follows a worldwide trend in the provision of this type of specialized service. This is an important measure for the business at the moment, contributing to the economic sustainability of the company.”
