Airport Workers Plan Protests Over Low Pay Rates
Noisy protests are planned at five airports around the country tomorrow as some employees demand an end to low pay rates and part-time work.
The protests are not aimed at disrupting airport operations but rather to draw attention to the profitability of Australia’s major gateways in contrast with the working conditions of baggage handlers, drivers, security staff and caterers.
