More Than 100 Workers Laid Off at Tampa International Airport

The jobs are being eliminated because Menzies Aviation lost a contract with LGSTX Service Inc. on June 4 and will see the contract with Frontier end on June 26.

An aviation firm at Tampa International Airport is laying off 123 workers later this month.

Menzies Aviation plans to lay off the employees because it lost two contracts, including one with Frontier Airlines, the company told the state.

The jobs are being eliminated because it lost a contract with LGSTX Service Inc. on June 4 and will see the contract with Denver-based carrier Frontier end on June 26.
