Two of Three Schiphol Baggage Handlers Agree to Union Terms, Call Off Strikes

The union has agreed terms with Menzies Aviation and Swissport Handling in which employees will receive a wage increase of about 5 percent over two years.

Aviation industry union FNV Luchtvaart has reached agreement with two of the three independent baggage and passenger handling firms at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport.

But the union has yet to agree with the third handling company so a chance  of lighting strikes remains, public broadcaster NOS said on Friday.
