SkyWork Airlines stopped flight operations after the landing of the last scheduled flight. After failed negotiations with a possible partner, the economic conditions of the company can no longer guarantee the continuation of the operation.

Consequently, SkyWork Airlines voluntarily returned the operating license to the Federal Office of Civil Aviation. Under the law of obligations, the company must notify the administrator of its excessive debts.

The next steps are now with the judge.

The management of SkyWork Airlines would like to sincerely thank its customers for the loyalty they have shown to the small, high quality Swiss airline for the last seven years. These thanks also extend to the employees and partners of SkyWork Airlines. With the closure of SkyWork Airlines, the last real Swiss scheduled airline says goodbye to the skies. For further information, please refer to the Federal Office of Civil Aviation FOCA and the insolvency office Bern-Mittelland. The FOCA has compiled the most important information for passengers concerned on the website www.bazl.admin.ch.
