Georgia Names Main Cargo Airlines on Market
Feb. 17—Georgia's Geo Sky airline became the leading carrier on Georgia's air freight market in January 2022, Trend reports via Georgian media.
According to the Civil Aviation Agency, the number of flights performed by the Geo Sky airline totaled 59 cargo flights.
Another Georgian carrier, Myway Airlines, ranked second among leading airlines on the air freight market in the reporting period of 2022, with 24 cargo flights performed.
Fleet Air International, a cargo carrier based in Hungary, is third on the list, followed by Turkish Cargo, which operated with the fleet of Turkish Airlines. Both air carriers performed 9 cargo flights each in January 2022.
Georgian Airways Cargo, a separate unit of Georgian Airways, ranked fifth among main cargo airlines in Georgia in January 2022 with 6 flights performed.
