Paris anyone?

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport announced Thursday that it will be adding nonstop service between Austin and Paris through Norwegian Airlines.

Flights will begin in May 2020.

Fares for economy one-way tickets starting May 6, 2020 are currently available on Norwegian's website at $219.90 apiece.

City leaders made the announcement at Austin City Hall on Thursday morning. Paris has been one of ABIA's international priority destinations and Norwegian could be eligible for incentives from the city.

The service to Charles DeGaulle Airport outside of Paris is the latest in an expansion of international service from Austin.

In September, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines announced nonstop service to Amsterdam beginning in May 2020.

British Airways and Norwegian currently offer nonstop flights from Austin to London, and Lufthansa offers nonstop service to Frankfurt.
