London Court Rejects Ryanair's Bid to Prevent Strike Action

A similar request to block strike action in Ireland was approved earlier on Wednesday.

London (dpa) - Budget airline Ryanair has lost a court bid to stop its British pilots from taking part in strike action, news agency PA reports.

British pilots are planning labour action on Thursday and Friday as well as on a series of dates in September.

A similar request to block strike action in Ireland was approved earlier on Wednesday.

The High Court in Dublin ruled in favour of Ryanair's request to prevent a strike by pilots based in the country on Thursday and Friday.
