My gosh!
Airline Weekly—a publication I’ve recommended for years—has just put out the most rosy airline report I’ve ever seen.
Perhaps I’m overreacting, but the current issue includes expressions that make me want to invest in airlines.
For example:
“Florida is an airline supermarket.”
“Will demand for aircraft ever cool off?”
“The boom lives on.”
“Forget lack of demand—the biggest problem now is getting all of those coveted planes built and delivered.”
What a breath of fresh air!
Nothing lasts forever, of course, so enjoy this while it’s here.
This issue of Airline Weekly might help you explain future potential to the powers that influence airport spending at your location, talk to civic clubs in your area, and/or pep up your local media.
Aviation doesn’t get a lot of good news, so, to cite poet Robert Herrick, “Gather ye rosebuds while ye may!”
…and consider subscribing to Airline Weekly. They don’t pay me to say that. I just love the publication because it covers airlines so well from a fresh angle.
