Lager brings more than three decades of experience in aviation fueling, spanning fuel storage facility management, into-plane fueling operations, and leadership roles with major U.S. airlines and global aviation service providers.

Menzies Aviation has announced the promotion of Kevin Lager to Senior Vice President Fuel Americas, effective immediately.

Kevin brings more than three decades of experience in aviation fuelling, spanning fuel storage facility management, into-plane fuelling operations, and leadership roles with major U.S. airlines and global aviation service providers. He also proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, retiring after 10 years of active duty and 20 years of reserve service.

Since joining Menzies Aviation in December 2019 as sales director for into-plane fueling, Kevin has consistently demonstrated strategic foresight and operational excellence. His promotion to vice president fueling in November 2021 marked a pivotal step in the growth of our fueling services across the Americas.

In that role, Kevin has been instrumental in enhancing service delivery, fostering strong customer relationships, and supporting the expansion of our network in North America to more than 50 into-plane fuelling locations and 55 fuel storage sites.

Kevin will assume his new responsibilities immediately, working closely with his predecessor, Randy Davies who is set to retire in the coming months, following a long and impactful career in aviation.

He originally joined Menzies in 2011, overseeing U.S. ground handling operations as well as sales and business development. After a short break, he joined ASIG in 2013, prior to the business being acquired by Menzies. Since then, he rose through the ranks from regional vice president west to senior vice president of U.S. fuels consortiums, before stepping into the role of senior vice president fuel Americas.

John Redmond, EVP Americas, Menzies Aviation said: “We are thrilled to recognise Kevin’s outstanding contributions with this well-deserved promotion. His industry insight and proven leadership will be critical as we continue to grow and strengthen our fueling operations. Kevin will work closely with Randy during this transition period, who is set to retire after nearly 10 years at the heart of our operations. His unwavering dedication, guidance, and presence has been instrumental to our success, and we wish him all the best for the future.”

Kevin Lager, SVP Fuel Americas, added: “I am thrilled to take on this new role at Menzies Aviation and to continue working with our exceptional team across the Americas. Together, we’ll build on our momentum, strengthen key partnerships, and pursue new opportunities to drive sustained growth and success.”
