CHAMP Cargosystems, Cathay Cargo and Swissport have joined forces to implement a ONE Record use case that spearheads the air cargo industry’s adoption of ONE Record.

Through CHAMP’s 1Neo-Connect, Cathay Cargo and Swissport will enjoy ONE Record capabilities and benefit from standardized data exchange, increased visibility and real-time booking updates. This use case provides real-time booking updates to Swissport which is a significant step forward as it allows Swissport to better understand and prepare for the cargo being shipped to particular stations.

The production of this use case is a testament to the shared values of innovation and transformation that unite CHAMP, Cathay Cargo, and Swissport. Their shared enthusiasm for the successful adoption of ONE Record is a testament to its capabilities and paves the way for future use cases.

“We are extremely proud of the work we’ve done alongside CHAMP and Swissport to embrace ONE Record, starting with this important and significant use case. We look forward to benefitting from ONE Record’s capabilities and continuing to work with both CHAMP and Swissport on this initiative,” Tom Owen, Cathay director cargo said.

“We are extremely excited to be enabled with ONE Record capabilities alongside CHAMP and Cathay Cargo. By proactively championing ONE Record, we are pleased to be part of its early industry adoption,” added Andrew Wareham, manager global operations at Swissport International.

“Putting our ONE Record use case into production with Cathay Cargo and Swissport is the result of much hard work, partnership, and shared commitment to excellence in the future of air cargo.  CHAMP sees ONE Record as the standard that will drive the full digitalization of air cargo and enable new services, so it’s extremely exciting to see this implementation come to fruition,” said Chris McDermott, CHAMP CEO.
