The award will allow Talma to renew its contract and remain the main operator of the service, which it is currently in charge of.

Talma, a leading airport services company belonging to the Sandoval Group, was awarded the contract to operate the Essential Ramp Service of the Jorge Chávez International Airport (AIJCH) from December 2024 to January 2033. This service consists of caring for aircraft on the airport apron from their arrival to departure, as well as handling luggage, among other tasks.

The award will allow Talma to renew its contract and remain the main operator of the service, which it is currently in charge of. Talma Servicios Aeroportuarios won the tender after achieving the highest score in the technical proposal evaluated in the contracting process, regulated by auction and in which four bidders submitted.

"After months of rigorous work, we received the pleasant news of being selected as the highest bidder. We are happy to operate in the AIJCH for eight more years. The primary benefit of this award is to ensure the continuity of our ramp operations, allowing us to serve our clients and contribute to the development of the Peruvian Airport Sector,” said Arturo Cassinelli, corporate general manager.

With more than 32 years of experience and a track record as a leading company in Airport Services, not only in Peru but also in four countries in the Latin American region, including Colombia, Ecuador, and Mexico, Talma has a successful operation in 50 airports.

"Winning the award is a very important milestone for our organization. In this new period, our intention is only one: to provide airport services with high international standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence to all our clients, as we have been doing for more than 32 years," added Cassinelli
