PrimeFlight Aviation Services Acquires Majority Stake in Aerocharter

PrimeFlight will take on Aerocharter’s operations at 16 airports across Mexico, where the company offers cargo, mail, ground handling, security, shuttle, and GSE maintenance services.

PrimeFlight Aviation Services acquired a majority stake in Aero Charter de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. this week in a stock deal. This acquisition marks PrimeFlight’s entry into the Mexico market.  

“We are excited to expand our services across North America with this acquisition,” said Dan Bucaro, president and CEO of PrimeFlight. “We are actively engaged in expanding our cargo and ground handling footprint across Mexico with the local expertise of the Aerocharter team backed by the global footprint and operational knowledge of our team.”  

PrimeFlight will take on Aerocharter’s operations at 16 airports across Mexico, including cargo and ground handling operations at Cancun (CUN), Chihuahua (CUU), Ciudad Juarez (CJS), Culiacan (CUL), Guadalajara (GDL), Hermosillo (HMO), La Paz (LAP), Merida (MID), Mexico City (MEX), Monterrey (MTY), Oaxaca (OAX), Queretaro (QRO), San Jose Del Cabo (SJD), Santa Lucia (NLU), Tijuana (TIJ), and Villa Hermosa (VSA). Aerocharter offers a multitude of services across these locations including cargo, mail, ground handling, security, shuttle, and ground support equipment maintenance services.

Aerocharter will continue to operate under its current brand during the integration process but will ultimately operate under the PrimeFlight name.
