According to a report by the Helsinki Times, Finnair may have to cancel flights as a new wave of strikes are carried out by ground handlers and security personnel on March 10.
The planned strikes, which are part of a labor dispute between the Finnish Aviation Union (IAU) and Service Sector Employers (Palta), could have a considerable impact on Finnair's operations, the airline said.
According the Times' article, the strike and sympathy strikes, are set to take place during one of the busiest times of day at airports, between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
