Gazprom Neft to Provide Aircraft Refueling Services at Russia’s New Saratov Airport

Gazpromneft-Aero has begun providing ‘wing-tip’ refueling services to regular flights at the new Gagarin international airport in the Russian city of Saratov. The company’s production facilities allow for the regular refueling of fights in accordance with IATA international standards and they have received all the required licenses and permits for operation.

The new Gagarin international airport was developed in accordance with IATA standards and can accommodate modern medium-range and long-range aircraft, significantly expanding the capabilities of airlines scheduling flights to Saratov. Gagarin Airport receives flights from Aeroflot, S7, Pegas Fly, Rusline, UTair airlines flying to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Surgut and other cities. The capacity of the new airport is 1 million passengers per year and has the potential to increase up to 2.5 million passengers.

Vladimir Yegorov, CEO of Gazpromneft-Aero said: “Gagarin has become the 60th airport in the Gazpromneft-Aero refueling network in Russia and the 280th in the company’s global network.
