Menzies Spain To Start In Madrid

The operation will start in August and represents a new station for the company's network.

 Menzies Aviation has been awarded a three-year passenger handling contract in Madrid by Vueling. The operation will start on Aug.5 and represents a new station for the company's network. 

"This co-operation, with one of Spain’s largest carriers, is of great strategic importance, and comes at a time when Menzies is participating in the ramp license tenders in Spain for over 50 stations," according to Juanlo Vidal - VP CE South. The license awards will be announced by the end of 2014, with start-ups expected in the first months of 2015.

Vueling serves over 100 destinations in Africa, Asia and Europe and is currently the second largest airline in Spain. In 2014 Vueling is going to travel to 131 airports in 36 countries with 280 routes and providing over 19 million seats.

nahco aviance has extended groundling contracts with three leading international carriers, Emirates, Turkish Airlines and Virgin Atlantic Airways.
