Portuguese baggage handlers will walk out over the August bank holiday weekend after the country’s civil aviation workers’ union (Sintac) issued a new strike notice.
The action will see workers employed by baggage handler Portway strike over 26-28 August, affecting Portugal’s four main airports – Lisbon, Porto, Faro and Funchal.
