Qantas will not have to reinstate hundreds of outsourced jobs after the Federal Court ruled it was impractical, despite finding it was unlawful.
The Transport Workers' Union, which brought the case on behalf of the dismissed workers, said those "whose lives have been put into turmoil" were expecting their jobs back as soon as possible.
