JNIA Adds Third Ground Handler Sparking Market Size Debate
According to a report from The Citizen, the Tanzania Airports Authority (TAA) has permitted Celebi Tanzania Aviation Services to operate as a ground handler at the Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA).
Celebi would become the third ground handler at the Dar es Salaam airport, joining Swissport Tanzania and Nas-Dar Airco, according to The Citizen. As a result, some stakeholders are concerned the airport is not large enough to accommodate business for three handlers while others anticipate the move could help bring down operational costs for airlines.
