Menzies Clears Competition Hurdle Over Airline Services Purchase

Competition regulators have given provisional clearance for John Menzies to buy a UK-based competitor.

The deal for Airline Services, which mainly provides de-icing to 60 airlines in 12 airports, was announced in April. Menzies referred the transaction to the Competition and Markets Authority.
