Employees of a Libyan ground handling company have decided to strike, which could affect operations at Misrata Airport.

According to a report from The Libya Observer, the General Union of Air Transport shared a letter with the Director General of Misrata International Airport explaining the plan to strike, which could result in the complete shutdown of the airport as of Sept. 17.
