Menzies Lays Off More Than 300 Workers At IAH

Ground service provider says it will no longer provide services to international wide-body airline carriers at the airport.

Menzies Aviation will cut 324 full- and part-time jobs at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

In a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act letter to the Texas Workforce Commission, Menzies Aviation said it would no longer provide ground handling services to international wide-body airline carriers at Bush Intercontinental as of Nov. 30.
