Assent Aeronautics, recognized globally as the world’s first successful live aircraft auction house, announced today that Jet Aviation, a General Dynamics Company, will host not one, but two, Assent Private Aircraft Auctions at their freshly renovated Love Field location. Assent’s new partnership with Jet Aviation commences April 30th with the Spring Aircraft Auction, as well as the the end of year November 19th Auction.
“After a very successful December auction—where we sold three out of every four aircraft consigned—we are very excited to build upon the momentum we created.” said Jake Banglesdorf, Vice President of Assent Aeronautics. “Jet Aviation is a world-class Fixed Base Operator, known for brilliant customer service, and to have a long-term partnership in place between our firms just makes common sense.”
In an effort to reimagine and reinvigorate the private aircraft market (one that is often very slow and frustrating), Assent conducted its inaugural event at Fort Worth’s Spinks Field this past December. The five-star event proved not only the viability of auctions but resulted in deals getting done.
Assent’s current closing rate exceeds eighty percent (80%+) for aircraft offered at over $1MM, and its marketing efforts have proven to attract more qualified buyers than any other strategy in private aviation. “Our consignments were receiving offers before, during and after the auction.” remarks Banglesdorf, “At the end of the day, bringing qualified buyers to the table, and matching them with aircraft that are truly for sale, in a luxurious, competitive environment is the magic of the auction.”
