Stephen R. Polk Joins Jet Linx as Base Partner of Local Detroit Operations

Jet Linx announced Stephen R. Polk has joined the company as the base partner of Jet Linx Detroit, effective immediately. Polk is an investor in the Detroit base and will help drive community involvement and alignment with the Detroit-metro area; he joins as the construction of the Jet Linx private terminal at Oakland County International Airport (PTK) is near completion.

With several decades of leadership as a business executive and philanthropist in the Detroit community, Polk is an experienced and highly-regarded member of the Detroit area. He serves as president and CEO of Highgate LLC., a private investment company in Birmingham, Mich. Polk has also held several corporate positions over the course of three decades at R.L. Polk & Co., a provider of market research, analytics, software tools and vehicle histories for the automotive industry before the business was sold in 2013.

Polk currently serves as chairman of the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce, vice chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Cranbrook Educational Community, vice president/director for the Detroit Zoological Society and is on the boards of the Automotive Hall of Fame, College for Creative Studies, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and The Nature Conservancy of Michigan. He also serves on the board of directors of Fifth Third Bank of Southeast Michigan, ReviverAuto, and Wiland Inc.
