Avflight Belfast City Wins Top Award

Feb. 17, 2017

Avflight Corp. announced that Avflight Belfast City was named EMEA’s (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) Top FBO in the annual EBAN FBO Survey and was honored as Best Aviation Handling Services Company by Transport News in the 2017 Air Transport Awards.

“We are absolutely delighted that our customers voted us number one in this year’s EBAN survey and for our recognition in Transport News,” said Ryan Hogg, Avflight Belfast City’s operations manager. “We are humbled by the praise and over the moon about the results.”

For the EBAN FBO Survey, readers throughout the EMEA rate FBOs on a variety of experiential criteria, helping savvy FBOs learn from the survey results.

“We took a close look at the feedback we received last year when we were voted number four to learn from our guests,” said Hogg. “The voting form is ideal because it scores specific areas of the FBO experience, rather than just providing an overall evaluation.”

With the feedback it received, the team at Avflight made key updates to the lounge and added a new air conditioning system for the comfort of passengers and crew members.

“While I wouldn’t say this is the reason we won, it certainly made an improvement to our overall atmosphere,” said Hogg. “We listened to our customers and took what they said to heart. We plan to do the same with this year’s results; we don’t rest on previous praise. We will always do what we can to be ahead of the game on service.”

The 2017 Air Transport Awards commends companies who showed outstanding performance and results within the aviation industry. It recognizes companies who have contributed to the ongoing success of aviation and rewards them for their incredible hard work, innovation and accomplishments.

“We receive frequent positive feedback concerning our customer care,” said Hogg, “and we want to make sure everything else we provide is raised to that same level, so we’re always adapting. I think that was a major contributing factor for our stunning results in the 2017 Air Transport Awards. We aim to continue that service-oriented mission in 2017 and beyond to make sure our customers are kept the number one priority.”
