World Fuel Services Expands Spend Management Tools

World Fuel Services announces the addition of two new purchase cards to the AVCARD portfolio. The new Flight Department AVCARD is designed for Chief Pilots and Aviation Directors to control costs across their operations. The MRO AVCARD allows maintenance directors to better manage the unique requirements of aircraft maintenance. These new cards expand World Fuel’s suite of financial and flight operation tools delivering more ways to manage aircraft operational expenses.

Aviation charge cards are traditionally issued by aircraft registration number, making it difficult to track those expenses not pertaining to the aircraft. The new Flight Department cards are issued directly to the flight department, allowing operators to control expenses beyond the aircraft level. Purchases such as pilot training, connectivity subscriptions, association dues, and consulting are ideal for the card. The MRO AVCARD streamlines aircraft-on-the-ground maintenance and major repair final payments, putting control in the hands of maintenance directors and avoiding the expensive hassle of an ACH or wire transfer.
