TAG Europe Announces Appointment of Carlos Gomez as MD of TAG Aviation España.
Farnborough, 21st October 2015 - TAG Aviation Europe today announced the appointment of Carlos Gomez as Managing Director of TAG Aviation, España, effective 1 January 2016.
Mr Gomez succeeds Rafael Villaneuva who has decided to pursue other opportunities outside the company.
After leading TAG Aviation España earlier in his career with the company, Mr Gomez held the position of CEO, TAG Aviation Asia, for the past four years.
In returning to Madrid, Mr Gomez will also take on additional responsibilities as a member of the TAG Aviation Europe corporate leadership team with a special focus to generate business growth in the region.
Welcoming his new challenge Mr Gomez said: “I am delighted to be returning to Spain to take up this important position as TAG España’s Managing Director, especially at a time when Europe and Spain are seeing the first signs of economic recovery. I look forward to once again working closely with my colleagues in Spain and Europe and making the best use of my experience in this region and also to play an active role in assisting the TAG Aviation senior management team.”
