ND: International Company Looks to Casselton Regional Airport for Crop Research

CASSELTON—An Israeli-based company is taking to the skies to improve agriculture with surveying.
The Casselton airport's runways may soon be home to drones, after Elbit Systems contacted Casselton Regional Airport in December wanting to use their runways for crop surveying.
"They will have information for the farmers that help them make decisions about fertilizer, irrigation, and that sort of thing and it will be very helpful," said Robert Miller, Casselton Airport Authority chairman.
