Olympian Lindsey Vonn to Attend and Participate in Special Q&A Session at NBAA-BACE

Oct. 5, 2021

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announced that former Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn will be attending 2021 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), taking place Oct. 12-14 in Las Vegas.

Vonn is the most decorated American ski racer in history, and widely regarded as one of the greatest of all time. As the first women’s downhill Olympic gold medalist for Team USA, she won four World Cup overall championships – which included three consecutive titles – and achieved a women’s record 82 World Cup victories.

In February 2019, Vonn announced her retirement from ski racing, and that same year commemorated her final season with the release of her HBO documentary “Lindsey Vonn: The Final Season.” Since her retirement, Vonn has launched a production company, Après Productions, seeking to chronicle stories of sports, women and determination.

A committed philanthropist through her charity, the Lindsey Vonn Foundation, she is strengthening communities by giving individual attention to the empowerment of girls through a program that creates a comfortable environment for the growth of women athletes. Vonn became a New York Times bestselling author with her 2016 debut novel, Strong Is the New Beautiful: Embrace Your Natural Beauty, Eat Clean, and Harness Your Power.

Not only will Vonn be onstage Day 2 for a special Q&A session, but she will be visiting the Textron Aviation Booth No. 965 on the show floor and using the company’s provided air travel to and from the show in Las Vegas.

“We’re delighted to have Lindsey Vonn share her inspiring story with us at NBAA-BACE,” said association President and CEO Ed Bolen.

NBAA-BACE will take place in the new West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) and at nearby Henderson Executive Airport (HND). For more information about the event, and to register for online content, visit nbaa.org/bace.
