London/Gatwick, February 12th 2018: Specialist aviation component support provider, Bii, appoints new Technical Director, Michael Dancey as the organisation continues to establish a team of highly experienced professionals. Dancey joined the expanding line-up in February 2018. His primary responsibilities include technical oversight of the stores and customer requirements, KPI monitoring and technical oversight for all trace and technical records. As well as offering technical assistance to the sales and repair teams and training new starters for stores and human factors.
Starting his career as an Aircraft Technician, Dancey has over 30 years’ experience in the aviation industry. He previously worked as an independent consultant delivering over 150 aircraft to leading operators and leasing companies for a decade. Dancey has held several senior production and technical management roles with major flag carriers. A highly qualified engineer with CAA approval, Dancey has grown to specialise in major projects including aircraft hand backs, deliveries, record reviews and repossessions.
