Nanda Kumar Named President of Eaton’s Aerospace Group

IRVINE, California… Power management company Eaton today announced Nanda Kumar has been appointed president of the Aerospace Group, effective September 1. In this new role, Kumar will report to Uday Yadav who has recently been appointed to the position of chief operating officer, Industrial Sector, effective September 1. Kumar will relocate to the company’s office in Irvine, California.

Most recently, Kumar was executive vice president, Eaton Business System. Kumar joined Eaton in 1990 and held positions of increasing responsibility in the automotive business including plant manager for the facilities in Roxboro, North Carolina, and Massa, Italy, and general manager for the Air Induction and Cylinder Head Systems business. In addition, he served as vice president and general manager for the specialty controls and valve actuation businesses, and president, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for the Vehicle Group. Prior to joining Eaton, Kumar was with the Robert Bosch Corporation. Kumar holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Bangalore University in India, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.
